From 9 to 13 April, the European days were held in Kroměříž, the Czech Republic. This edition was dedicated to Bulgaria — since it is the Bulgarian Presidency of the Coucil of the European Union. The European days are regularly organized by Olga Sehnalová MEP in different locations of her town simultaneously, to let the citizens of Kroměříž know more about the culture of the EU country taking the Presidency, and making them more aware of the functioning of the EU.

The local library is always a partner of the initiative and, for the Bulgarian days, a series of activities and workshops for children about Bulgarian culture and language were organized there, together with a photo exhibition. A special selection of books about the country was also made available at the library.
